HPS had its General Meeting on January 23, 2025 at St. Paul Hellenic Center, with over 100 in attendance. President Dean Peters delivered the Year in Review address, the Odyssey Award was presented to Emmanuel Ermidis, and the Iliad Award presented to Maria Cashy.

On November 2, 2024, HPS hosted Emmy-award winning author Yvette Manessis Corporon at Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral. See more about this wonderful event on our News page.

New Committee for Classics and Mythology

A new committee, focusing on Greek Classics and Mythology, and how they affect our NEO community has been formed for outreach and education.

The Greek Cultural Garden

The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are a collection of public gardens located within the City of Cleveland’s Rockefeller Park. Within the 276 acres of wooded parkland on the city’s East Side are 32 distinct gardens, each commemorating a different ethnic group whose immigrants have contributed to the heritage of the city over the centuries. Learn more about the Greek Garden here: Greek Cultural Garden

New acquisition to the Collection: GOYA Conference-Banquet 1961

In 1992, HPS discovered and began the restoration of over 30 icons found at the Annunciation Church in Cleveland. Completed in 1999, the restored icons have recently been photographed and these long-lost treasures can be seen here
